FIVE (Black Hearts, Book Two) by Sara Cate and Rachel Leigh: Release Blitz + Review

🔥🔥HOT NEW RELEASE 🔥🔥

FIVE by Sara Cate and Rachel Leigh is Live!

My family is everything to me.

When my life was ripped away from me, I found them.

Silas, Gabriel, and Baron—my hearts, my family, my home.

Together, we’re a dangerous family of assassins, but I’ve never been happier.

Until a member of our family goes missing.

He went out for a simple job and never came back.

Now it’s up to Baron, Silas, and I to bring him home—but what if he doesn’t want to be found?

What if the family he’s found is better than the one we have here?

And what if I find myself caught up in their web of lies while becoming strangely drawn to someone I shouldn’t be?

All I know is that I can’t live without my family, and I’ll do anything to keep them safe.

Even if that means facing the truth.

We’re nothing if we’re not together—all of us.

FIVE is book 2 in the Black Hearts series. I did not read book one, as I did not realize that this was book two. Saying that - I feel as if I didn’t miss a thing. I was able to keep up with the story, as well as the characters without an issue. The authors did a good job of connecting each other so that I didn’t miss a beat.

With that being said, I didn’t really enjoy the story. There was not enough storyline as there were 4 men sharing 1 woman. I’m not against reverse harem, and it’s actually become one of my favorite genres. The problem that I had was that it seems all they did was have sex. That’s about the entire premise of the book. Violent scene? We’ll solve it with sex. Someone has been taken against their will? We’ll solve it with sex. It just seems that was the only thing these characters did. I also had an issue with the father/son thing. It’s just not my cup of tea. Again, I’m not against RH, I just want more of a storyline and less of a porno. If there is sex in a story, I feel as if it should be more passionate and less wham-bam. I mean, this poor woman’s v*gina. Give her time to breathe!!

I have read Sara Cate before and really enjoyed it, but FIVE just didn’t do it for me. Judge for yourself, it may be right up your alley!
