This was my very first book by Monica Murphy and I know what you are thinking….HOW? I think I live under a rock!! I had a friend a while back that was obsessed with her books but never had the time to read them but WOW, I am kicking myself in the rear now.
Ava and Eli were high school sweethearts but when an opportunity of a lifetime arose for Ava, Eli gave her the ultimatum it was him or her studying abroad. Ava of course chose to go for her dream but left behind the love of her life.
Coming back to town was kind of a nightmare when it involved Eli and it brought back so many emotions and it hurt but what Ava didn’t know was it hurt Eli too.
I am in love with this book and seriously need to get with it and read more of Ms Murphy’s work.
