It’s nice to see Natalie Bennett back at it! There has been so much time in between books 1 and 2 that I was lost for the first few chapters. I had to really dig deep to remember the situations at hand. Nevertheless, she did give us what we crave. Dark and sinister, yet sexy as can be.
Maleficium reminds me of The Hunger Games, with an added flair of The Purge. It will definitely give you the chills and all the feelings you can have with dark suspense. Still so many questions, but I am sure that we will find out in book 3: Daemonium. I pray that book 3 will come to us soon!
