It was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring…nope. No. Nuh-uh. That’s a lie.
The moment that Caro wakes up, she knows that she’s not alone.
One thump-thump from the living room and she quickly moves into action.
One 9-1-1 call later, and she’s ready to defend herself.
Only, she gets more than she bargains for when she steps out into her living room and comes face to face with a living, breathing nightmare.
And isn’t it just fitting that the man that saves her by coming down the chimney with a large black gun in his hand is named Saint Nicholas?
***
It seemed like the start of a bad joke.
Saint Nicholas comes down the chimney on Christmas Eve night, but he isn’t there to bear gifts. He’s there to take out the trash.
When he lands on his silent feet, he has no other choice but to put himself in harm’s way.
One look at Caro’s terrified face, and he can’t stop himself.
He steps in just as the bullets start flying, saving the damsel in distress and taking a bullet to the shoulder for his trouble.
But one thing he can say is, heroes always win the girl.
And Caro is the best Christmas miracle of all.

Ahhhh, goodness. Depends on Who’s Asking was such a bittersweet book. The end of the KPD SWAT 2.0. All of the original’s babies, grown up and married, with babies of their own. This entire series was beyond amazing.

Saint and Carolina are one of my favorite couples. What I love most is the fact that Caro takes what she wants. There is no denying that you know where you stand with her. If she doesn’t like you, she’ll tell you. Then you have Saint, who is more reserved. More “lay back and watch what happens” type of personality. Therefore their relationship works. Opposites attract and all. The spattering of the rest of the KPD and their families round out this book. With the world as crazy as it is right now, it only seemed right that Saint and Caro be tossed together as a pandemic broke out. This is what brought them together, after all. It’s only fitting for it to be the final one, adding in the Presidency and election.

I will miss them, that’s for sure, although I am excited to start a new series. You can bet it will be just as great!!

OMG, we FINALLY get Saints story!! I was so excited for this book to drop! Now, I have to be honest that at first I didn’t like it too much but since its Lani, I totally had to finish it. I am SO glad I did!!

It was like love at first sight between these two but to be thrown into quarantine together really sealed the deal. Until it didn’t…see, Saint has a high-profile family that nobody knows about but him. When all hell breaks loose, he leaves to rectify the situation. Caro is left in the dark and feels like her world is ending. Will she ever see Saint again?

So this book knocked my socks off. I absolutely loved Saint and Caro was someone I wish I could be best friends with. The chemistry was off the charts and like always there is always some WTF moments, which I absolutely look forward to.
