Desk Banger by K.S. Rochell: Release Blitz + Review

Title: Desk Banger
Author: K.S. Rochell
Genre: Contemporary Office Romance
Publish Date: July 29, 2020

What happens when your boss catches you making scans of your butt instead of the case files he asked you for?

Any normal boss would fire you right on the spot before you can even explain yourself.
But mine asked to see the pictures in color.

Nicholas’s Brighton is one of the best attorneys of my generation. Somehow though, he's more known for being New York's hottest bachelor.

Not like I have any time to drink in his features with all the work he's assigned me. The man is such a mean and demanding jerk... but somehow that only makes him more irresistible.

If things keep going this way I'm not sure if he's either going to fire or f*ck me. And I definitely know which one I'd prefer.

I know, I know....3.5 feathers? But I pride myself on honest reviews and I have to stick with it. I give a lot of 4's and I try to save my 5's for the truly amazing, one-of-a-kind, type of book. In that same context I save my 3.5's for ones that I feel aren't up to my standards. That being said, I read a lot of books, approximately 150/year. However, this is totally my opinion and only my opinion. I'm sure there are many that will not agree with me and that is totally fine.

The story line is ok but seems to get lost a little bit. It's about being on an app similar to Tinder but for office hookups. You sign up like any other dating app but the hookup is at either of the offices. You literally show up at one or the other's office to have sex & leave.

This gets lost because when Amber signs up she knows which profile is Nicholas and he knows her profile. But this is because they already work together. So their hookup seems sorta staged. It just all read and felt a bit childish. Like the dirty words were only there to be dirty. It wasn't sexy or sweet or even dominating or romantic.

The descriptions of the characters and their lives were great. The history inside the story-line was good too. This is completely my opinion and it's very hard to give a 3.5 feather review. Feel free to read this and form your own opinion, as this is just mine.
