Desperation
had a flavor.
It
was all Emma could taste as her life in Washington DC started to crumble before
her.
In
a city filled with prestige and American dreams also lay political fallacy and
corruption—corruption she would soon find herself indulging in.
Emma
would have done anything to save herself from the downfall, gone to any length,
sacrificed her soul if needed.
What
she didn’t realize was that someone else was more desperate to save their own
life and that the worst was yet to come.
Wow!
Holy twist & turns!!! This book definitely keeps u interested. There just
one plot twist after another.
Very
political but also very society’ish. Carly loves her husband, but his family is
a little difficult. Everything is about his political advancement. She’s
convinced herself he’s cheating on her. She goes to great lengths to find this
out. Then gets herself into a situation she never saw coming. Ever.
Tripp
has his life planned for him. However, if he doesn’t like it he doesn’t show
it. He works hard and he wants to make his parents proud. He wants to give them the legacy they have
taught him. The one place they argue is over his wife. They would not have
chosen her if they could have picked. But he fell in love with her and they are
just gonna deal with it.
The
things Carly does, all because of her fear of him cheating, is really crazy.
The plot twist and the characters are amazing. The writing is fantastic!!!
Very
Highly Recommend!
