One lie. One
crazy, dark, dirty lie turned my world upside down. It dug its claws into my
life, altered my future, and clouded my past.
I thought I was
over him. The one who lied. I thought I’d moved on with a successful career, a
fat bank account, and a sexy boyfriend.
All that changes
when Owen Henry walks back into my life. He’s out on parole, standing on my
front porch, looking sexier than ever. I want to hate him for what he’s done,
but all I can do is think about how great his lips felt on mine the last time
we kissed.
I’m so screwed.

released in 2017 as Monster Love and contains new content.*
I absolutely
adored Lies We Tell. I’m swooning over the man we know as Owen. Wow. No matter
how hard life can be and no matter how people turn their backs on him, he
stayed humble. Stayed to himself and allowed the truth to eventually be
revealed. They say that love heals all wounds and that if you truly love
someone to set them free. If they belonged to you, they would come back. That’s
the case with Owen and Stella. It may have taken almost 2 decades, but the
power of kismet reunited the duo.
I loved watching
their love and true feelings unfold. Haters be damned. These two are the real
deal. The power couple, the Romeo and Juliet of their small town. Always
remember that only love can set you free and Lies We Tell delivered just that.
Amazing book by Jeana E. Mann and it’s definitely will not be my last.
