Sick Remedies (Pretty Lies, Ugly Truths, Book Two) by Natalie Bennett: Release Blitz + Review

Title: Sick Remedies
Duet: Pretty Lies, Ugly Truths Duet, Book Two
Author: Natalie Bennett
Genre: NA Dark Romance
Release Date: December 12, 2019

Obsession. Heartbreak. Turmoil.

 That's how this story begins

Sick fixation…

Wicked temptation…

Cracked facades slowly expose everything we hid from the other.

All the pretty lies bleed into ugly truths.

Rhett Sullivan?

He doesn't exist.

And Nova Markov?

She's dead.

This is a hard review for me to write because I love Natalie Bennett’s work. I have been anxiously awaiting Sick Remedies, Because I had to know what awaited Nova once se found that box of her belongings and then Rhett walked in. With a gun. Dun, dun, dun.

To say that the story did not fulfill my needs is an understatement. I was lost in areas and then disappointed in others. The ending is not complete. It just doesn’t make sense and it leaves a feeling of unease and cliffhanger, although this was the final book. I need more of their relationship. I need to know how she was able to conclude their relationship that she did. It felt rushed and I can only hope that Natalie will revise this edition and make it more of a completion.

Natalie Bennett is the creator of erotic stories that always come with a warning label. She writes about depraved alpha a**holes and women that love to hate them. Her books don't follow any specific tropes, have no set word counts, and tend to deviate from traditional HEA's.
When she isn't in front of her computer she's spending time with her husband and their three little boys.
Natalie is an avid fan of caramel frappes, horror movies, Shameless, and of course, reading.
You can find Natalie on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
