What’s hotter
than hot, rough and rugged cowboys with big hearts? Nothing. The answer is
nothing. Ace Valentine rode straight into Codie Spears heart and found a way to
plant roots and grow. Codie was a bad girl growing up and came from the wrong
side of the tracks, so to say. Her family was not well liked, but that was then,
and this is now. Ace knew what he wanted and went after it. The only problem is
that Codie had a hard time believing that she was good enough. However, in
Ace’s eyes, she was everything.
Another Lani
Lynn Vale book that will tip the charts. She did a bang-up job starting of this
new series. I can’t wait for the second installation into the Valentine brother
series. Hopefully it will be Darby! No matter who it is, I know it will be amazing.

Going to be honest and say that I was a little nervous that I would't like a cowboy book but ummm, who am I kidding? Lani writes it, I freaking LOVE it! This book was amazing. I loved every second of it and quite frankly I really didn’t want to put the darn thing down. What an amazing start to a new series!!
Codie and Ace both have had pasts in their small hometown and both left….now they are back and the fun begins. What starts out as being bashful and ashamed to go out in public because people seriously need to get out of the past, Codie and Ace kind of stumble upon each other and find their company makes being in public not so bad.
As always Lani throws in some kind of drama but it’s fun, I laughed a lot. The plot was fantastic and its always amazing to have characters from the past intertwined with the future. I can’t wait for the rest of this series! I think I’m in love with a cowboy!!
