Once upon a time she became mine.
Mine to keep.

She was a healer.
He was a serial killer.
She helped people.
He destroyed them.
She was a beautiful angel.
He was a vicious monster.
She wanted to run away.
He captured her instead.
She promised to never surrender.
He guaranteed that she would.
Two lives, the hunter and the prey, forever entwined together.
In this battle of wills there would be no winner.

Wow … I must say that I did not see that ending coming! That is something for the books, right there. I can almost always sniff out how a book will end, or where the story will lead, but this one? I was caught off guard. I have been waiting for Arson’s story for some time now and I am so stoked on how it turned out. Brilliance!!! Fires, turmoil, betrayal and revenge. Arson’s Captive has it ALL!!

If you want dark and sinister, yet gripping and captivating, V.F. Mason is the way to go. No matter the hero/heroine, I am always impressed. The stories that leave her head and get captured on paper is some sort of witchery. How someone can write a story that leaves you wanting more, gets you on the characters levels and makes you feel as one with them, is incredible. I have never been disappointed in one of her babies. To say that Ms. Mason is one of my go-to authors is not enough. She is and always will be one of my favorites and I will follow her, wherever she goes.

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied film-making and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
