Such a good story.
I loved characters and the plot. Here we have not so royals, meaning they have the title, just none of the prestige. Lets start with Lex.. I mean his name alone is worth the whispering sound of a million panties hitting the ground. He's sweet, kind of a push over but dominant. Hes my first dominant push over. He's a good friend and an even better brother. He meets our heroine Abbi by accident. Literally she was going to get hurt and he saved her. By day his family is putting pressure on him to marry, to fight for the throne ( that he doesn't want) and at night his demons fight him to face his past over and over again.
Abbi is woman who starts out meek and mild and you want to shake her to tell her to open her eyes and get the hell outta her situation. She doesn't disappoint, but her family sure does. Armed with friends and a new respect for herself she heads out to live her dreams in another country. This is where she meets Alexi.
While she is fighting their chemistry tooth and nail, some reactions are too powerful to stop once they start. The only issue is that fate has a way to working it out, but also screwing up what you had planned.
This is a cliff hanger book, so you will have to wait for the conclusion of this amazing story. It definitely leaves you high note.
