Once upon a time
a sinner, a priest and a madman played a dangerous game...
She is a sinner.
He is a serial
killer.
She demanded
vengeance.
He demanded her.
She vowed to
avenge.
He vowed to
destroy.
She created a
web of lies.
He wore a mask
of deceit.
She wanted to
escape.
He captured her
instead.
There are no
rules in this twisted game of theirs.
But there is a
winner who claims the sinner.
Wooooooow this
story is off the charts!!! Holy schiznit! Completely sinister, deep and dark
from page one. Just how I like it. When I thought the direction was going one
way, it made a complete 360 and went the other. Lots of twists, turns, ups and
downs and boy oh boy, does it bring the emotion. Convolution and twisted minds
have caused the betrayal and demise of one of the best heart and souls that this
town ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Creep in the
Madman and his twin brother, the Priest and you have one hell of a story. The
supporting characters? Trust me when I say that you will want to murder them.
With tweezers. Oh, so slowly. I can’t say much more, because it will give this
amazing story away. Just know not to leave your guard down. Also make sure that
no one is home when you’re reading this, because they will look at you sideways
when you’re screaming at your kindle.
The brilliance
of V.F. Mason never ceases to amaze me. Wait a second...yes it does. I am in
awe of her raw and unadulterated talent. I don’t know HOW she does it, but each
story gets better and better. How do you top a 5-star read? Ms. Mason has
unspeakable talent. She is mesmerizing with her words and without a doubt, one
of my favorite authors. Top 5, for sure. Please do yourself a favor and pick up
Madman’s Method. Heck, while you’re at it, one-click every single one of her
babies. You will continue to crave for more.
Up next is
Madman’s Cure that I simply cannot wait for. Enjoy and happy reading!!
Where do I even begin?
First of all this cover is hot as all sin. I mean, swoon and sweat right?
Next I love the names. They're unique, so this means I can freely add these characters to my fantasy spank bank and have no guilt; I'm quite sure I know of no one with this name.
So the story is twisted and convoluted and I had to re-read several parts over and over again, because I was lost. The Madman, the Priest and the Sinner are all great characters and I love the small town vibe.
Speaking of small town. I wanted to burn the whole town and watch them all suffer. They're the most ridiculously sad group of people I've ever read. I mean, who does that? The whole town, in my eyes at least, is guilty. THEY ALL failed this girl.
Yes, be warned the subject matter is dark and twisted but it also can be triggering. I have so many questions and of course Queen Mason is gonna make me wait for the next one.
I recommend this to anyone who loves dark stories and beautifully flawed anti-heros.
