In this book we meet Carter and Kinley two people who have
mastered the art of the slow burn.
Kinley has a past that she can’t seem to escape in the form of
her ex-boyfriend Ben who doesn’t want her honestly, but also doesn’t want
anyone else to have her either.
Carter who is a big name in the MMA scene meets her one crazy
night and while it was a horrific experience, it was kismet.
Although its book 7, it can be read as a stand-alone novel.
This is the first book by this author that I read and I’m
glad I did. I love hard men with soft gooey interiors. Who treat women right
but can rough you up. That tenderness that’s only reserved for those they care
about.
I recommend this book to everyone who love steamy romance,
heart wrenching situations and well fleshed out characters.
