This is the
seventh installment of the Boys of Winter series and I have to say; I was quite
pleased that I didn’t have to read any of the previous books to understand what
was going on. This was a quick, light read for me.
Maisie is
abandoned in Sweden by her own mother. She had to make a plan to get a way back
to the US and had to be quick. What she didn’t plan for was to fall for the man
who she was trying to use for a ticket home.
Noel is one of
the best defense-men in the NHL. He finds himself in Sweden playing for Team USA
when he stumbles upon Maisie. He falls fast and hard, but will he end up caught
in the web of lies Maisie has led him to believe?
This book was a
super-fast paced and quite sexy to boot! The story was well written and light.
It felt great to have a break from the heavy stories I have been reading
lately. Now I am intrigued to buy the last six in the series and hammer down.
