The Panty Melter by: Lili Valente - Release Blitz w/Double Review

Title: The Panty Melter

Author: Lili Valente

Genre: Contemporary Romance/Enemies-to-Lovers

Release Date: March 26, 2019

I don’t date alpha males.

Especially not alpha males with egos the size of Jupiter, who also happen to be my boss’s big brother.

Deacon Hunter is domineering. Condescending. Infuriating.

And yet I can’t seem to keep my panties on for five minutes when we’re alone together.

He keeps melting them right off. With that sexy voice, those confident hands, the way he brings my body wildly to life, he’s proved my libido hasn’t gone into permanent, post-divorce hibernation after all.

Surely there’s no harm in being enemies with benefits… Right?

***

When Violet Boden asks me to take her Divorce Virginity, the only thing I can think is—come again?

No, seriously, come again.

And again and again, until both of us are so satisfied we can’t remember the people who did us wrong.

Best if we keep conversation to a minimum, though, considering I drive her crazy. She drives me crazy sometimes, too. But she’s also sweet, loyal, fearless, and so much fun she’s making it damn hard not to fall for her.

But how to convince a woman who’s put me in the emotional no-fly zone that I deserve a place in her heart?

Wonderfull written, developed characters and extremely relatable.

Violet has 3 girls, pretty much grown, and has mostly raised them as a single mother. She's put her personal life on hold to do this. But as her last daughter nears college she has thoughts of dating and trying once more for that one true love.

Deacon has made a career of being in the military. He's been gone a lot but he has managed to raise two fine young men. He's retired now from the military and has been thinking a quieter life, with maybe someone to love, might not be so bad after all.

I loved the story of these two characters and all the twist the author put into it. I love how mature it is. There are no games with these two, age and life have taught them how precious love is. They have their stumbles and they know how to talk about it. They also aren't afraid to be attracted to each other and tear up the sheets either. Something else that comes with a little age and maturity.

Wonderfully sweet, pretty quick and fast paced read.

Highly Recommend!!!

I enjoyed this story. Rarely do I get the chance to read about someone further along in life. Most heroines are in their mid-twenties and there is a lot of insecurities and back and forth on feelings. This is straight forward and that felt good to read.

I enjoyed Violet. If you are familiar with my reviews at all then you know I champion strong and independent women who know what they want and aren't too scared to ask for it. Even if in this case they want to fight it. Violet was strong to me, she had some issues but mostly it was just life weariness.

Deacon was alpha male hotness that we all want when reading. He was written very well.

This is a hot book, but also very sweet. I do recommend.

Author of over forty novels, USA Today Bestseller Lili Valente writes everything from steamy suspense to laugh-out-loud romantic comedies. A die-hard romantic and optimist at heart, she can’t resist a story where love wins big. Because love should always win.

When she’s not writing, Lili enjoys adventuring with her two sons, climbing on rocks, swimming too far from shore, and asking “why” an incorrigible number of times per day. A former yoga teacher, actor, and dancer, she is also very bendy and good at pretending innocence when caught investigating off-limits places.

You can currently find Lili in the mid-South, valiantly trying to resist the lure of all the places left to explore.

Lili also writes super naughty books as L. Valente.
