Zee + Annmarie
and Tan + Jubilee.
Forever. No
exceptions.
They were to
have the picture-perfect life together. Everything was all planned out.
Jubilee was to
marry Eitan and Ezekiel was to marry Annmarie. That’s how it was always
supposed to be from the moment that they met. Textbook, right?
Wrong.
Eitan and
Annmarie die in a freak accident that never should have happened, leaving the
two survivors reeling.
Sixteen years
later, Jubilee and Zee can’t even be in the same room with each other before
things begin to deteriorate. Too many memories. Too much pain. Not enough
forgiveness.
They’re like
hellfire and holy water, and neither one of them is willing to admit that
they’re wrong.
Then one day
things change, and all of a sudden, they’re looking at each other like maybe
they aren’t each other’s enemies after all.
Woah! This book blew me away. Just when you think Lani would run out of ideas….BAM! I was hooked from the start!
Zee and Jubilee share an unfortunate tragedy when they are younger. They both lost people they loved and blamed each other for it but either way they seem to always have each other’s back, whether they know it or not. Somewhere in the cat and mouse game feelings start to emerge but will either one admit to it?
I loved the love and hate these two spewed at each other. It was in good taste and funny as hell. Jubilee is by far one of my favorite heroines. I loved how much Zee fights within himself at being this hard ass but inside he is a huge teddy bear, don’t get me wrong he’s protective as all get out. I don’t think there was anything to dislike in this book…well, except the villain of course but we all know it wouldn’t be a true LLV book without a good twist of a story. AMAZING, amazing book.

It’s been said
that true love is finding where one begins, and the other one ends. This
happens to be the case with Zee and Jubilee. Quite literally. Who knows how to
go on with life after losing someone that is so close to you .. your other half.
It Happens is a story about finding your peace and within that peace; they find
love. The banter between Zee and Jubilee (and even Rome and Liner) is
hilarious. I love the banter and love the making up, even more.
Lani Lynn Vale
is definitely one of my favorite authors and she never disappoints. Make sure
to pick up It Happens, book six in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC!
