If you believe in second chances . . .
All I did was dance with her at a bar. Just once.
Then this undeniably gorgeous party girl, Stevie, turns up at my house, the contractor in charge of my remodel.
How am I supposed to take her seriously?
The problem is she’s excellent at her job, which aggravates me even more.
She’s changing my house, changing my life, and my animal urge to protect and possess her feels like a betrayal to my deceased wife.
She’s absolutely unsuitable.
He’s uptight, f*** hot, and there’s no way she can compete with the ghost of his wife.
A book full of filthy sex and beautiful tortured romance. Why Her? is a standalone novel with a tear-worthy HEA, no cheating, no cliffhangers, just all yes. Keep the fan handy, you’ll need it.
Woah! Holy hotness, this book will make your panties melt right off! At first I thought great, another older man with a younger woman story. It actually kept my interest and I loved every second of the book.
The book starts off with Stevie and her best friend dancing and having fun at the club. Her bestie spots a silver fox and entices Stevie to ask him to dance. What she thought was just a fun night turned out to be whiplash in the morning.
Kane is a widower that is raising his teenage daughter. I loved this about him and not only do you fall in love with him but his daughter as well. She tries so hard to set her dad up but he’s got his eye on the cute little contractor he has hired to do some remodeling in his house.
The characters in this book were perfection. The banter and the attraction make it so you just can’t put the book down. The book has some hot scenes but it’s not just sex in this story, it has emotion and substance. I couldn’t put it down!!
