Woah, what a great way to begin a new series. I have to admit, I have not read the Freebirds series yet…(I said YET people!!) but I sure am putting them high on my to be read list. Anything Lani puts out, it’s a must have for me.

Rafe, I mean who doesn’t melt just by the name alone? He has been through hell, literally. This poor guy has the most interesting backstory of the Lani men out there but at the same time my heart hurts for him. You shouldn’t have to be punished by everyone you come in contact with for the asshole your father is and what he did to people. There’s one person who doesn’t punish him for being him, Janie.

Janie has loved Rafe since she can remember. Everything she does, he’s in the back of her mind. The thing is, he doesn’t seem into her as much as she is into him.

When tragedy strikes, which ALWAYS happens in a Lani book…lets face it, she comes up with the best scenarios EVER! I mean where does she come up with this stuff!? As I was saying, when tragedy strikes the Lani men always seem to step up. Will Rafe follow in step or will this be a new leaf for a Lani series? Hmmm….

This has been kind of a different read from the normal. I found this book to be quite angsty…. Which I LOVED! The story was hot and fast. Now can we just fast forward to Maybe Don’t Wanna?? Please???
