be pushed around anymore. Maybe it’s because she saved his life or maybe it’s
because this cowgirl is completely different from every other woman he’s been
with.
Problem is Sam
has secrets of her own. Secrets she doesn’t want Al to find out because if he
did he’d run in the other direction. She pushes him away even though he melts
her panties right off—literally. There is more than just her heart that needs
protection. Al won’t give up fighting for the feisty cowgirl’s attention.
Tempers will flare and hearts will be broken. And Sam’s plans to never settle
down will be torched like the inferno of passion raging between them.
What a great
book!!! Amazing story and the characters are simply awesome!
Sam (Samantha)
and Al are polar opposites. Rancher vs. City, Poor vs. Rich, Wrangler vs.
Prada. But the one thing they do have in common is their “no need for a
relationship”.
Sam has one
added element.....she has a massive secret. One that she hasn’t truly come to
terms with, herself. Guilt and a lot of self-esteem issues makes it hard for Al
to crack her tough outer shell.
I truly loved
this story. It’s more about coming to terms with yourself and decisions you’ve
been forced to make, than anything. Having someone see you completely different
than anyone else, including yourself, is eye opening.
The writing is
just fantastic!!! The characters, even the back characters, are well thought
out and complex. The story.....just wow. Definitely a must read!
