I cannot begin
to tell you exactly how much I love this book. I love scary movies and books,
but the suspenseful ones...they get me every time. I was reading this book in
bed, in the dark and I got so spooked out, that I had to turn on a light! Haha!
I felt as if someone was watching me read. Talk about goose bumps!!
Melissa has
done one amazing job with Monsters. She got us to have a love/hate relationship
with the Carter brothers. I fell in love with Lucas and Gemma and wanted that
relationship to soar, so bad. Every chapter I felt like I was saying “do they
kiss yet?” Mason ... creepy Mason who lurks and is watching your every move.
Ohhhh he gives me the chills. But that’s just it ... chills ... from a book.
Melissa Jane is one exceptional author. I swear, from this point on, that I am
a forever fan. If you haven’t read anything by this brilliant author, take the
opportunity of making Monsters your first. You will thank me, for sure!!
