Title: Personal Foul
Author: Hayley Faiman
Genre: Contemporary Romance
per·son·al foul
noun:
a rule violation involving illegal contact.
Violated. That’s how Trent makes me feel. But I can’t leave him. I owe him too much.
Illegal contact. That’s what it is the first time Cole touches me. Except, it doesn’t feel wrong.
I shouldn’t break the rules--and yet, I’m afraid that if I don’t, the personal foul will be called against me.
My future. My heart. My life is at stake. I can’t betray myself. I won’t.
**Trigger Warning: Sexual Assault

Okay, so no beating around the bush. Let's just get down to the nitty gritty. I absolutely LOVED the fact that this was a forbidden romance. A college girl and an older man. They just seem to work and can give each other exactly what is needed.
Let's just address the elephant in the room ... Trent is a douche. Oh my gosh. I wanted to throat punch that man on several occasions. The way that he treated Jessa was beyond ridiculous. He used her for his disposal until she realized that this relationship is not what she wanted in life. Cole stepped in and gave her exactly what she wanted. Kick that douche Trent, to the curb Jessa! I love the chemistry between she and Cole. Jessa could never have imagined that a relationship could be this amazing. Again, the forbidden romance absolutely made this book.
Hayley Faiman is one of my favorite authors and I am so happy that I was given the opportunity to read one of her beauties, yet again. If she is a new to you author (or not), be sure to grab up your copy of Personal Foul. You definitely will not be disappointed!
This was my first book by Ms Faiman and I can say it will not be my last! Personal Foul was an amazing read and I am super excited to dig into Ms Faiman's past books and anything coming in the future.
Jessa was dealt a crap hand from the get go. Her situation isn't anything you'd wish for but she made due. She actually was guilted into a lot from the entire family but her boyfriend Trent was a complete ass.
Cole is Trents college football coach. How does he fit into this scenario do you ask? Well, let's just say Jessa can't seem to get him out of her mind and Cole is pretty forward with how he feels about her.
This Book was crazy good. I am always up for a forbidden romance and this one seriously hit the spot. It was naughty but had sone serious issues going on throughout. Loved, loved, LOVED it!!!
I was born and raised in California. My husband and I met when I was just 16. We were married a few years later, moving to Oregon while he was in the US Coast Guard.
Texas is now where we call home, where our boots rest, and where we're raising our two little boys and a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
