Victoria
Life was nothing but a dream.
Until the Bratva destroyed it,
shattering the world as I knew it.
Sacrificing my freedom for a
chance to get my revenge on them seemed like a small price to pay.
Until he showed up claiming me as
his and shifting the rules of the game.
Falling in love with him was easy,
but choosing between loyalty and love was not.
I dreaded the day he’d find out
the truth.
Because no one would be able to
save me from the brigadier’s wrath.
Brigadier
The Bratva became my only
salvation, saving me from the nightmares of the past.
They accepted me with open arms
and introduced me to the brotherhood that stood by me through everything.
I gave my heart and soul to that
gritty and dark world, never wanting more.
Until I met her, and then
everything changed.
Victoria Kuznecova became mine.
But she was hiding something from
me, placing us both on a dangerous path.
Because no one betrays the Bratva
and lives.
Oh, how I love V.F. Mason. Another amazing, mind boggling, heart
wrenching, SEXY read. I am so happy to have Gleb’s story. Brigadier’s Game
definitely measures up to each book in the Bratva and Cosa Nostra series.
LOVE!!
I must say that Gleb is a freaking bad ass. Holy crap on a cracker.
The fight scenes were beyond measurable. I about had to fan myself. I’m not one
for violence, but he did what he had to do to protect what was his .. his
family. Being the Brigadier, it was his duty to do what he must to ensure their
safety. Never once did he complain. He knows his role.
Victoria’s world is something that she did not expect. Wanting
revenge, she knows how she is going to do it. She has planned and trained for
it. What Victoria didn’t expect was for her plan to be called off. She now had
to face the fact that she is being forced into a marriage that she doesn’t
want. Who is this mystery man and why must she submit? That is not her
character at all. How will it all turn out?
V.F. Mason stole my heart with Sociopath’s Obsession. Ever since then,
I crave her books. They are chalk full of surprise elements, heat, desire,
shock and action. So many twists and turns that it keeps you on the edge of
your seat. Brigadier’s Game is no exception. I can’t wait for Kaznachei’s Pain.
Come to mama!
So after my mini coronary event from reading the first chapter, I really got into this book. The enforcer was sexy as hell. I usually don't champion violence but I'll be honest it was hot as all hell in this book. I love that he had depth to him. He didn't want to kill just to have to kill, he felt guilt with that, but when you mess with his family he has no problem, took pleasure in it actually and it was sexy as hell. After reading the first duet in this world that V.F. created I thought to myself, Damien is my forever husband. Then I read Pakhan's Rose and I thought no, its Dominic. Dominic is my forever husband and it changed with Revenge as well. Well, Gleb is my forever husband now. I think of all the books, he's the kinkiest and I like that. That man knew he loved to go down. He was probably the sweetest of the Bratva that we have met so far. The reflection at Dom's wedding nearly broken me.
Victoria is the epitome of a bad bitch. Girl was amazing. She was fierce and was ready to burn them down for hurting her family. She also took her pleasure and didn't feel ashamed for it. I love that even after she knew who Gleb was, she still wanted to risk her heart and risk it all for love. She didn't let it get in her way from feeling something she never felt before. She was fearless.
We get a lot of Viyta and Michael in this book. I love how they are becoming more and more public in each book. I know their law says they have to be killed but they are getting bolder every book. I love how fiercely they love each other. I need a Michael and Viyta book. Speaking of supporting characters, I need a book for Kostya and Konstanciya. I love reading about past characters, it's like visiting old friends. Another stand out for me in the past few books has been Yuri. Yuri is the definition of hallelujah. I can't wait to get his book. He's so loyal, that scene with Marco made me love him even more. I could see him being my forever husband too. I love that these books evoke emotion for me. I love being that invested that the characters feel like friends and leave you thinking of them long after the book is finished. Fine and fabulous read.
V.F.Mason always loved reading
books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked
(romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire
for stories, but that didn't happen.
Finally, when she was tired of all
those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision
to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.When she
is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy
things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite
authors.
