Everybody has problems. But
Travis? Yeah, he has so many problems that he finds it hard to breathe
sometimes.
He spends five years catering to
his ex-wife’s every want and need—all to make it possible to continue to see
his child.
He isn’t supposed to fall in love
with a woman, but he does.
He isn’t supposed to find someone
that is willing to put up with his ex-wife’s crazy antics, but he has.
He isn’t supposed to be happy, but
he is.
And all it takes is his ex-wife
finding out about his new-found peace for things to change.
***
Hannah saw him and knew he was the
one.
All it took was one look into that
haunted man’s eyes, and she was lost, never to be found again.
She thinks she has it all. His
love, a new baby made with that love, and a house to raise their blended
family.
She’s wrong, and Travis’ ex-wife
is out to prove it.
***
Travis doesn’t deserve Hannah. All
he’s done is hurt her.
She’s done everything in her power
to keep everyone happy, but the more she tries, the harder his ex-wife pushes.
Until one day, there’s nothing left to push.
Hannah leaves, and Allegra wins.
But Travis isn’t willing to let
her have her way any longer.
He fights back, and only gets a
bullet to the chest to show for it.
Travis and Hannah … oh these two.
What a story! I have my favorite male and female in other books, but these two take
the cake as favorite couple. They both love one another, but each is afraid
that the other doesn’t feel the same. I kept yelling at my kindle “tell her
already!!” “Ugh, Hannah, just spit it out!” To outsiders, they appear to be one big, happy, blended family.
Poor Travis didn’t have it easy.
He always tried to do the right thing by his ex-wife Allegra and their
daughter, Alexandra. However, they didn’t reciprocate feelings or even respect.
Nevertheless. He never gave up.
Hannah was a devoted mother and
career woman. Tough as nails and gorgeous, at that. The moment that she was
there when Travis and Alexandra needed her the most was such a huge moment in
his eyes. Travis knew at that point that their lives would never again be the
same.
Go to Hail is another exceptional
book from Lani. No matter what she writes, I will read. I am committed to her
books. The words flow through the pages like butter on a hot potato. I can’t
wait for Burn in Hail … just a few more weeks to go. Now …. Go click on the
link below and grab your copy of Go to Hail. You NEED this on your kindle.
Happy reading!
Holy Hail YES! This book was
spectacular!! I am in awe of no matter how many books Ms Vale puts out they
just get better and better. Her books hit the spot EVERY time!
Travis is in ex-wife hell. He
tried to make this woman happy for years, initially, so that he could see his
daughter grow up but to his avail nothing could make her happy. Blessing in
disguise? Sort of….
Hannah is a nurse and absolutely
loves it. She’s also a single mom that is raising her daughter on her own. When
she meets Travis, she knows it’s not going to turn into anything because of his
crazy ex but things can change with a blink of the eye!
These two are one of my favorite
couples, EVER! I laughed so hard with these two. Don’t get me wrong, I totally
cried and got incredibly angry at times but what’s a Lani Lynn Vale book
without all the drama?
What I absolutely loved about this
story was how Ms Vale changed it up some. We got a glimpse of the pasts of
Hannah and Travis. I thought that was brilliant. The suspense keeps you on your
toes and the fact that we see familiar names throughout was great too! Go to
Hail can be read as a standalone but I don’t recommend it. Call me a dork if
you will but I love to read past characters and know who they are. I get so
excited…maybe I need a life, I don’t know…but it’s nice to see familiar names.
I for one am totally invested in ALL of Lani’s books.
