This was a hard story to read. At times, I felt
as if I wanted to shake Ady to bring her to her senses and then bear hug her to
take all of her hurt away. Kason, oh my heart!! This book was truly a rollercoaster,
a heartbreaking, life changing, oddly beautiful rollercoaster. Ms Blair sure
does know how to break your heart and slowly, meticulously put it back
together.

This
book totally wrecked me. I don’t think there was a dry Kleenex in the house! I
can honestly say that I have never cried so darn much! But don’t let that scare
you off. This duet is engraved in my soul. I haven’t read anything quite like
it before. Part one ended in one hell of a cliffhanger and that alone made me
cry. Thankfully part two wasn’t far behind and it picked up right where Ms
Blair left us in awe.
Ady,
oh this poor girl! She had everything going for her. She had a wonderful
boyfriend and they both were going to the same college, until one night it was
all taken away.
Kason
has already been through so much in life but Ady made it all worth pushing
through life for. Moving away for college isn’t easy on anybody but with Ady by
his side made it easier. Until one night, the sanctuary he once knew is
slipping through his fingers.
OMG! Really? Ms. Blair....I need to have a word with you!!! Seriously? Do you have any idea what you have done to me? I mean you literally took me apart and put me back together. This book!!! This story!!! OMG!
I hope you guys are prepared because y'all are not gonna forget these books for a long time.
Adaline & Kason. WOW!!! This one picks up right where we left off at the end of the first book. Oh and let me tell you CLIFFHANGER!!! For real! Anyway, so something happens to Adaline at the end of the first book and things go downhill from there. I mean there was screaming at the kindle, grabbing the phone and messaging Heather (review above) and quite a bit of cussing. OHHH and lets not forget about the tears and the box of tissues!
However, I pushed through and I'm SOOOO happy I did. With certain authors like Ms. Blair you just know she is going to put you back together at the end. The road was bumpy, gritty, dirty and heartbreaking at times but isn't the best stories like this? Even life is like that sometimes.....the hard road is the one with the best outcome.
The writing is excellent. The story off the charts. The characters I wanted to hug & slap at almost the same time (so they are perfect). Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
