This was one sweet story that ended too quickly for me…I kind of wanted more! Double Crossed was so well written and due to that, I didn’t mind the switching between current and past times. Typically, I am not a fan of past/present, but Colbie Kay wrote so eloquently that it flowed amazingly well and didn’t skip a beat.

Snake fell in love at a young age and was dealt the worst hand that he possibly could have. Meeting a sweet girl Victoria, by chance, he fell hard. Victoria was only 17, but she knew what she wanted and what she wanted was Snake. Despite her mother being the snot that she is, Victoria decided that Snake was the one. The man that she would spend the rest of her life with.

Betrayal … the ultimate betrayal separated the two, but does true love really die? If they were to meet once again, would the feelings still be there? And will Snake accept the surprise that Victoria has for him, when their paths collide, once again? Be sure to pick up your copy of Double Crossed, because I assure you that you will be pleasantly surprised. This was my first book by Colbie Kay and it definitely will not be my last. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!!

Wow!! This book had me hooked from the beginning. I absolutely LOVED how we got to take a look back into the backstory into the fullest. This was quite different due to most books give you quick glimpse but not the full story. Double Crossed was a quick read and I honestly didn’t want it to end.

Snake and Victoria weren’t meant to last from the start. She was sweet and innocent, he was part of an MC but when these two hearts collide it’s like they were never meant to be apart. That is until a spiteful woman decides to deceive them both and tears them apart. Can they ever get back what they both thrive for in life...each other?

My goodness, Colbie has done it again!! I laughed, I cried, and got very angry at times but overall my heart was so into this story. It was pretty neat to try to imagine these two back in the 80’s and really fun. I loved Victoria and Snake together. I could actually “feel” the love between these two. Just amazing! I’m super excited to see what Colbie has in store for us next!!
