Falling in love was never part of the plan…

Serena is the daughter of a mogul millionaire.
New York Heiress.
Lover of the finer things and spoiled since birth.
But with dreams of becoming a designer slipping through her hands after a minor mishap.
Her father ships her off to Texas, to make her appreciate, the lifestyle she takes for granted. Can she handle living in the south, to right her wrongs, to pursue her dreams?

Serena
Living carelessly through life to dull my pain, I didn't pay attention to my father's threats.
When he had issued an ultimatum after yet another stunt, I thought he was joking.
Either work on the ranch in the middle of nowhere for the entire summer or lose any chance of making it as a fashion designer...
I had no choice but to agree.
Determined to follow my dreams, I traveled to Texas with one goal in mind: to prove my father wrong.
However, with all my planning, I didn't consider one thing.
Him.

Shane
Leaving everything behind, I came here one year ago to find out the truth.
But I never expected for it to destroy so many lives.
Leaving in the aftermath, I struggled to find myself in this new world I had created...
Until she showed up, bringing more added chaos with herself than it was humanly possible.
Every part of me wanted to claim her, but succumbing to those desires was a big mistake.
We didn’t belong with each other, and I couldn’t help but feel she was hiding something.

But when did I listen to what was best?

Oh, my heart. Shane’s Truth was a massive swoon worthy book. So many feelings of hope, lust, love, first times, coming of age and more.

I think I fell in love with Shane the moment that Serena met him. There was an immediate “do not touch her” stamped on her forehead. That warrior stance though … dayum!! However, Serena didn’t feel the love for the Ranch first off, since it was her father’s punishment for her misbehaving, spoiled brat ways. Shane had a hand in changing that behavior and feeling. She would soon come to love said ranch and everyone that is invested in it. The connection between the two is undeniable and makes you want that love … that heat … that passion.

Ren … he seems like a playboy and a jerk, but I have a feeling that there is more beneath that thick skin. I would love to delve deeper into his story. Then there is Shane’s younger sister, Maggie. She and Grady may have some explaining to do. Either way, I believe that we need a story there as well.

All in all, another HUGE success for V.F. Mason. I absolutely adore her writing and her stories get better and better. Shane’s Truth is completely different than anything that I have read before from her, but I am also loving this side. Pick up your copy today!!

I loved Shane's truth.
No matter his truth he embodied everything I loved in an alpha man. He was humble, kind, commanding not demanding, strong, and possessive. God was he possessive!! <drool>
Built like a shit brick house, with a sexy man bun. Where do I find this ranch, and how can I sign up.

Serena was no slouch her self. Way stronger than her circumstances gave her credit for, she goes to the ranch As a punishment at first but she does more than atone for her guilts, she finds her back bone and stands up for herself.
I love when I read a book and I'm invested in the supporting cast as well. I can't wait to see what life in store for Maggie. I really hope when she gets her book she ends up with Grady. He's better to me.
The sweet sexiness of this book is swoon worthy. The slow burn will disintegrate you.
All in all it's a good book about two people from different worlds trying to make it work and learning, loving and growing up along the way.

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen.
Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
