My name is
Molly Brinks, but most people know me as Vivienne Foxx, bestselling author of
chance meetings, stolen glances, and the much-needed happily ever after. My
addictions include coffee, home improvement television, and the occasional pint
of ice cream. The love of my life is an eighty-pound labrador retriever named
Pee Wee. At the age of twenty-nine-plus-one, I am at the top of my
game…professionally. My personal life is a completely different story, one best
left untold. Success has its sacrifices and I’ve been more than happy to put my
search for Prince Charming on the back burner while I create fictitious tales
of the naïve virgin, the broken girl with a torrid past, and the strong-willed
student finding their own Mr. Right… Until one hell of a case of writer’s block
and a tight deadline set by my publisher forces me outside my cozy downtown
Boston apartment in search of inspiration.
Armed with
an account on every dating website out there, I devise a plan. Meet some nice,
professional men. Go on a few dates. Hope one of them has the spark I need to
finish my book. Then walk away.
But plans
are meant to be broken.
My name is
Molly Brinks, and this is my story about Writing Mr. Right.
OMG!!! it is about fucking time. I finally have a love story thats funny, has heart and realistic. I could actually see the events happening in real life. I love it.
Molly and Noah are amazing.
The characters are developed nicely and the arc they go through is amazing and believable.
I like Noah hes smart sexy and has the most delicious potty mouth. He's a neurologist, which is so hot.
Molly is unfiltered unapologetic and unbelievably fucked up. I mean the girl has problems. Her dad has dementia and her mother has been absent since she was little so its understandable.
While reading this book I went through a tirade of emotions. First was laughter, I loved the quirky sense of humors and the shenanigans of the group. Oh and I really want an aunt GiGi. Then I got bothered, you know of the hot variety and I have to say TK the sex scenes you wrote were amazing. I loved them.
Then came the extreme sadness. I was so heart broken when a certain event happened that I had to set the book down. The heart wrenching devastation and the hurtful words flung about hit me in the feels.
Another reason I loved this book is because although romance novels are supposed to be an escape, sometimes you read books and the suspension of disbelief is too great to get over and you find your eyes rolling and not in the sexy way. They had sex and he told her needed to rest before they do it again, he didn't claim to be a sex god. He said he wanted to learn what she likes. This didn't take away from his alpha sexiness and he still got her to where she needed to be a realistic amount of times, it just made him feel real, more human and ultimately more desirable.
