Mayhem by Alexis Noelle: Release + Double Review

Title: Mayhem

Series: Deathstalkers MC #5

Author: Alexis Noelle
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 27, 2017

I had to step up, take over,

Save her from herself,
From him.

He doesn't deserve her.

But I sure as Hell don't either
She's too sweet, too soft, too kind.

A broken shell of the woman she once was.

But now, there's more on the line,
She's in too deep.

And I'll be damned if I ever give up
On putting her back together,
Owning every ounce of the woman,
Who stole my heart.

This was a rough one to get through, from the very beginning. I cried so much for Jasmine (probably  more than I should have), but I was drawn to her. I can relate. I know how it feels for someone to think of you as a nobody. To be treated like a piece of trash. I rooted for her from the get go; and let me be honest ... I hoped and prayed that Cutter would gut Dylan, through and through. That worthless piece of crap.

The moment that Jasmine walked into Ambrosia for a personal assistant position, Cutter saw her. Like ... REALLY saw her. He knew that something was off and he was determined to find out. That day came when Dylan walked into the bar and abused Jasmine right in front of him. No way in hell was he going to let that happen. From that day on, Cutter knew that he needed to retrain her brain and bring her back to life. He had to tread agonizingly slow, so as to not scare her and make her run for the hills.

Alexis Noelle stole my heart. No .. she actually crushed it, shred it and then slowly put it back together. Seeing the compassion that Cutter has for others made me swoon throughout the book. He is amazing. Cutter is the ultimate book boyfriend. Hot, rough, rugged and last but not least, compassionate.

Please be sure to add Mayhem to your TBR. If you want a raw, yet emotional read, this is it. Just keep in mind that there may be triggers throughout. I love you Alexis!!

I’m not going to lie; this book tore me to shreds. I always forget how raw Ms Noelle can be, but I LOVE it! I was sucked in right away!!

Jasmine is married to her high school sweetheart, Dylan. He didn’t turn out to be the sweetheart he masked to be. He broke her down so much she didn’t think she was worthy of anything.

Cutter is the treasurer of the Death Stalker’s MC club and runs the local strip club, Ambrosia. He’s on the hunt for an assistant for the club. Jasmine stumbles in and instantly he’s drawn to her. He knows something is wrong, she’s hiding something but decides to give her a chance with a job.

Cutter isn’t relationship material but there is something about Jasmine that piques his intent interest. Jasmine is just trying to make her husband happy and stay alive.

I am still having withdrawals from this story. The love, heartbreak, fear, and rawness is up front and in your face. I read this in one sitting, I just couldn’t get enough. I LOVED Cutter and wanted so badly to hold Jasmine in my own arms to console and tell her everything would be okay. Ms Noelle sure does know how to make you feel as if you are in the story and the flow of her writing is absolutely amazing. You don’t have to read the previous books in this series but I would if I was you!!
