I absolutely adored this story. Hot, rough, rugged, steamy and mysterious all rolled up in one. From the get go, we see who Conrad is. Con does NOT hide or shy away from his true self. He is a bad ass and nobody fu**s with him. He is the one to look out for. If you know he is coming for you, you are 100% doomed.
Charlie sees him from her flower shop window. She knows that he keeps an eye on her and that makes her feel safe. Witnessing something horrific one evening, she learns what he does. Although somehow, she is not afraid. There is something about Con that she finds comforting. What she does know for sure, is that he is sex on a stick. The night that she encounters the horrific encounter, her life will no longer be the same. Charlie can not for the life of her, figure out why these awful men would be after her. No matter the situation, Con will not allow her to be harmed. For he is her dark protector.
Celia Aaron is a new to me author and I am so thrilled that I was lucky enough to be chosen to read and review Dark Protector. It was nothing but a pleasure and I can not wait to see what she has in store for us next.
