This is such a bittersweet review. I'm so excited for everyone to read it and fall in love all over again like I did, but I also don't want it to end. It really is hard to say goodbye. ☹️
We're back with Dominic the Pakhan of the Russian Mob, and he's looking for his love who was kidnapped Rosa. She's presumed dead, but he hasn't given up yet.
Then enters Angelica, she looks like Rosa, but she slated to marry someone else and she doesn't know who Dominic is. Could this be his long lost Rosa?
Sometimes those you thought you left in the past has a way of sneaking up on you again and reigning holy terror it.
I was so happy to see Damien in this story (with a little glimpse of sociopath!!) and his family. I loved how the brothers worked together to exact revenge and bonding like only they know how!!
Although I don't want to see these characters though they go out with a bang. Several deliciously hot bangs. No holds barred not holding back... just primal lust and a deep love connection.
Five tragically sad, hysterically happy, lust filled feathers.

What an amazing conclusion to the Pakhan Duet. Definitely bittersweet because I wanted to know how it all turned out, but also did not want it to end.

Pakhan would do anything humanly possible to have Rosa, his Krasavica back. He would go to the ends of the Earth if it meant having her back in his arms again. The unity that the family shows is so heart warming. Tough as they may be, when it comes to their women, the men will stop at nothing. Dominic just knew that the woman (Angelica) that he saw was his Rosa, his Krasavica, his heart and his soul. He didn't care if she was promised to another. There are way too many coincidences. What did it for him is what he found hanging around Angelica's neck. When he travels to Italy, will it be his Rosa, or will his heart be forever shattered? What will Italy hold for him? And will he ever find out who targeted his woman and caused her demise and his forever heartache?

I absolutely adore V.F. Mason. This woman can write like nobody's business. I ugly cried many times in this book. So often, I caught myself talking out loud; and then look over to find my husband just starring at me. The heartache, the promises, the longing, the love. It is all there, packed into one pretty little cover. I know that I am going to go into Harrison brother withdraw, however I do have Sovietnik's Fury to look forward to. Ooooh .. just can't wait!!!

V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn't happen.

Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it.

When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
