WOW I really liked this story!!!

The females in the book are fierce! The main female, Lani is a force to be dealt with and I love her!!!! She speaks her mind in a sharp, honest and a bit smartassy way! It’s fantastic.

The main male, Brett Walker, is the golden boy. He’s rich, comes from a rich family and was the star football player in high school. He also is the supposed black sheep and if you believe the rumors, the town slut.

Lani & Brett have history of being best friends, they went to high school together and his twin is her other best friend. Something happens in high school that will change the course of all their lives for the next eight years.

Lani’s come back and all the old feelings are back too. Some good, some really bad. Can she find out the truth? Will they get the closure they so desperately need?

This book is really great in the way that it’s a typical romance BUT the story itself is not. I love the other characters and the writing is really great!!!  Emma Hart hit another one out of the park!!
