You don't necessarily need to have drugs or alcohol to be an addict. You can be addicted to someone.. to lust.. or to love. For Bodhi and Kimberly, they seem to be each others vice.
But what better addiction is there for each others soul? To be able to have such a powerful connection, that you can overcome drugs or alcohol. To outweigh feelings of not being enough. To feel a high, just from their presence?
Bodhi is in a very popular and demanding band, called Virtuous Paradox. His bandmates, Brayden and Carson are like his brothers. They watch out for each other, but they didn't see just how deep blow invaded Bodhi's life. With Aspen around, Bodhi had everything readily available at a moments notice. Parties were an everyday occurrence for the band, so he would indulge on the regular. His band manager, Rebel knew that he was getting in too deep and gave him an ultimatum, alongside his father. Get clean, or get out.
With reluctance, he agreed, although he kept saying that he could stop whenever he wanted. This was just fun and recreational. That is, until he started coming down from his high and going through withdrawal. An angel sent from above walked into his life. From the time that he laid eyes on Kimberly, he knew that she was different. Bodhi felt a connection with her, which is odd, considering he has always been the love 'em and leave 'em kind.
Their connection only strengthens during his stay in rehab, although a relationship between the two would be very taboo. Kimberly is his counselor and with Bodhi being a patient, a relationship is a no - go. Can he stay away from this blond bombshell? Will Kim allow herself to succumb to the sexiness of THE Bodhi McKnight, with his ocean blue eyes? How would a relationship work between a rock star addict and a straight and narrow counselor? Is there a happily ever after?
Heidi McLaughlin is such a talented writer and I have always been awe-struck by her writing. Blow definitely held up to that standard and may have crept its way up to my favorite from her. Take your chances on blow and fall in love with Bodhi and Kim. They are a duo that will not soon be forgotten.
**Be prepared for some amazingly HOT sexy scenes, as well as some very sweet and ugly cry worthy moments.**

Bodhi McKnight has always had everything handed to him on a
silver platter: fame, success, money, girls. The raven-haired, blue-eyed hottie
is the son of Hollywood A-listers, and when he’s asked to join the boy band
Virtuous Paradox, his star shoots even higher. But so do expectations, leading
Bodhi down a destructive path of addiction—until a drop-dead gorgeous guardian
angel shows him her sizzling brand of tough love.
When Bodhi ends up in rehab, he doesn’t expect to meet
someone as cool and down-to-earth as Kimberly Gordon. Although he’s enjoyed the
company of beautiful, charming women before, none of them have tried to get to
know the “real” Bodhi. But Kimberly isn’t fazed by his stardom. She’d rather go
horseback riding, teach Bodhi to play guitar, or ask him about his feelings.
Soon Bodhi realizes he’s fallen head over heels for her. He just hopes that
he’s strong enough to protect what they have from all the pressures and temptations
of the outside world.
Includes a special message from the editor, as well as an

“Oh yeah? What’s that?” Her tone is playful and gives me
hope. And I need hope. Not to score with her, but to get through my days.
“You should join me in the shower.” I waggle my eyebrows at
her and rub my hand over my abs, pushing up my shirt a little so she can see
what’s underneath.
Kim shakes her head, but her smile tells me that she likes
the idea. She covers her mouth to stifle a laugh, and I chuckle.

When she isn't writing one of the many stories planned for
release, you'll find her sitting court-side during either daughter's basketball
games.
Heidi's first novel, Forever My Girl, is currently in
production to be a major motion picture.
