I am just an average twenty-something following my
dreams. I have a full time “day job” and by night I am an author. I guess you
could say that writing is like my super-power (I always wanted one of those). I
am the lover of wine, sushi, football and the ocean; that is when I am not wrapped
up in the literary world.
Three times best selling author Dawn Robertson was born
and raised in Connecticut before relocating to Florida in 2013. The same year
first novel, Hers debuted as an Amazon Best Seller. Replicating that success
with two additional novels in the following years.

I am not a good person. In fact, I am the worst of the
worst. I was dragged down into the gutter and have thrived in this seedy
underbelly where I was recreated. Reborn as Eleanor McGuire, socialite and
professional hit-woman. The filthiest, dirtiest, high profile pieces of shit, I
end them.
I am the huntress.
Corrupt men are my prey.
Dawn and Kristen want to warn you: this is not for the
faint of heart! But if gore, violence, and extreme sexual situation are your
cup of tea, this is the series for you.
This book is so out of the ordinary and I absolutely loved it! It is not very often that we see such a strong lead woman, who can stand on her own and deal with the monsters in her closet, the way that she does. I love a good thrilling, suspenseful story. The Huntress is one of my favorite of this genre, for the year!
Ellie had a strange childhood, to be honest. I felt some of the things were out of my comfort zone, but hey -- to each their own! Being raised by a successful and powerful man, Ellie never wanted for anything. She turned to sex and porn whenever she felt the urge. I'd say that she has a sex addiction, if there ever was one, but hey .. nothing wrong with that.
Ellie is definitely a force to be reckoned with. Cross her the wrong way and you just may pay the price. She has a best friend, one that is covered by a leather sheath. One that will protect her when needed. Her dagger is her ride or die .. literally. When a man does she or her friends wrong, she will be the last woman they see.
This is my first experience with both Kristen Hope Mazzola and Dawn Roberston and it will not be my last. I loved the suspense and the thrill of the chase. I can't wait to read both of the remaining books in the series. Job well done, ladies!

Prologue
The blood trickles down his lifeless face, pooling on the cement basement floor at my feet. Wrinkles deep around the corners of his eyes, he looks much older than the mere thirty-three years he has been on this Earth. Living a life of lies will do that to a person - age you, taint your soul, and most of all, physically take a severe toll on your body. I catch myself watching with morbid curiosity for a few seconds as the whites of his eyes begin turning a subtle hue of crimson. I grab the dark rag from my bag that lies next to me on the floor. The blood dripping from the tip of my knife sends shivers up my arms - the satisfaction of a job well done. I make quick work of wiping off the blade that has become more important to me than most would ever be able to understand, my love affair with the dagger that is always by my side. Impressed by my very own handiwork once again, I put my knife into its leather sheath and turn to walk toward the old rickety wooden staircase of the Victorian Massachusetts home, never looking back.
I never do. It started a long time ago when the only person I learned to love in my lifetime exited stage left real damn quick, never once looking back.
I figured only the strongest people could muster up the will to never look back, but after a while I learned it didn't take a brave soul, but rather the kind of person who has a heart of black, no feelings, just completely and undeniably emotionally void - my own perfect shade of fucked up.

The Indie publishing world has grown to love her raw
writing style depicting strong
women in real life situations, topping the charts in
erotica, romance, and romance-suspense. Robertson has even insinuated that the
female characters in her book mirror her real life. But, that I'll leave to
speculation.
When Dawn Robertson is not writing she is a full-time
Real Estate professional in Florida, and mother of three amazing children.
