Title: Loving His Forever
Author: LeAnn Ashers
Genre: Romantic Suspense

Braelyn
I'm nobody. Homeless, afraid of my own shadow and haunted by memories. I went through the motions, but I wasn't living. Until him. He made me live again. He became my everything. Until he came back. The man that caused me to live in my own personal hell for years.
Ethan
Brae is broken. She's haunted by memories. I saw the fire in her eyes flicker and it was enough. It consumed me. I was determined to see her thrive. I didn't expect to fall in love with her and that it would become everything. Nothing will stop me from protecting her. He will pay for her pain.
This is a hard one for me. I very rarely give anything less
than a four rating, although I feel that it is warranted.
While the story was cute, I feel that it was rushed and
unrealistic. The character development was almost non-existent for anyone that
was not a main character. For instance, instead of using a name, we were given
"The MC guy". I just felt like an idea would play out in LeAnn's
head, and immediately put on paper, instead of development.
Ethan is a hot cop for sure, although frustrating. Alpha
males are amazing and I love them, but he was a bit over the top for me. If he
wasn't carrying Braelyn around, then she was sitting in his lap. It got to the
point where I wondered if she even had any legs!
Braelyn is a girl whom you can't help but feel sorry for.
She had it rough. Not only was she drugged and raped, but the piece of garbage
is still out there and after her. When Braelyn left college after the attack,
she fell off the face of the earth and didn't remain in contact with anyone.
The day that her attacker found her, she ran straight to Sydney (her college
roommate), whom she hadn't spoken to in three years. However, Sydney didn't ask
questions, just immediately called her brother, Ethan. Braelyn moves in with
him, that day and he immediately has pet names for her. He sleeps next to her,
cuddles with her and it all just seems very unrealistic.
After only a couple of months, they are saying I love you
and planning babies together. I am not saying that these things can't happen,
because I only knew my husband for 9 months before marrying him, but it all
came in stride. This story-line again, felt rushed. To add to their troubles,
Braelyn meets a brother that she never knew she had .. Liam. He is young, yet
he is accepted into something major and given something major, in no time at
all. Again .. not realistic.
As I said before, the story was cute, but I had quite a few
problems with it. I am not trying to be mean, because that is not how I am;
however, I pride myself on honest reviews. I have to tell you my thoughts,
although I highly encourage you to judge for yourself. It wasn't for me, but it
may just be exactly what you are looking for. I truly believe that the talent is there, so I know that I will not give up on her just yet. :)
