Title: Dangerous LoveSeries: Unforgiven #1Author: Liz LovelockGenre: Romantic SuspenseRelease Date: August 11, 2016
For Jay Jones love has been nothing but heartbreak. After her boyfriend walks out, leaving her with no money, an empty apartment and the pain of loss, she vows never to love again. To never allow someone to claim her already shattered heart. Years later, Jay has slowly moved forward with her life, but the cloud of sorrow and fear of getting hurt once again always claws away at her soul.
Now a first-rate police officer, a new undercover assignment forces Jay to reassess her insecurities and build a relationship of trust with her new partner.
The one person who can save her from the hellish crimes is the one man who dragged her to hell already.
If you enjoy a badass girl with a history of heartbreak and devastation with a hot as hell guy that let her go to keep her safe. Add a splash of danger with a sprinkling of family drama - then Dangerous Love is definitely for you.
I will also say that if you like a story that is romantic but not erotic - then this book is for you. There’s almost no cursing and even less sex. For me personally I would have liked more of both. Well….not necessarily cursing but more realistic police lingo. And well, I’m a dirty girl, so I like the sexy books.
However, I enjoyed this book immensely!!! It’s romantic and held my attention with the story itself which is completely due to the fantastic writing of Liz!!!
Jaymie and Braydon, (or Jay & Bray <——too cute!!) have a LONG history separated by 10 years! They find each other again and they are still very much in love with each other. They have a few hurtles to jump through first, but can their love for each other make it?
Again, this book is wonderfully written and the story is just amazing! It has twist and turns and the ending is very exciting.
Highly Recommend!
Liz is from bright sunny Queensland, Australia. She has always been a reader. When she was little she would be up late reading Garfield and Asterix comic books and also Footrot Flats. When she hit high school she read Tomorrow When the War Began by John Marsden and from there her love of books continued to grow. She always has a book to read beside her bed along with a note book for when inspiration hits at those crazy hours. She is a stationary addict and a one click addict. She loves everything books, authors and of course loves chocolate and lollies to keep her going.
