She’s an author.

She’s a mother.

She’s a wife.

She’s a fraud, a woman marked and bound by her own lies.

Experience the tale of how Anonymous battled through a year of scandals and betrayals, how her world fell from its axis with a single choice, and how she lost herself between reality and fantasy.

This a stand-alone true story tangled in lust, heartbreak, and contrition.

I was so conflicted with this story. It angered me, yet I felt as though I understood Tori. I thought "how could she", yet I also thought "I can see this happening." I wanted to punch her, although I also wanted to hug her.

E.K. Blair takes us through someones life, someones trials and tribulations, and someones heartache.

We are introduced to an author who is feeling unfulfilled with her life. She has 2 children, a husband, an amazing best friend and a thriving career. She goes by the name of Tori. She seems to live her life day by day and it all seems normal, until the day that she was told to google a fetish website. That was the day that her life flipped, turned upside down.

Tori meets a man that brings her to the brink. He pushes her to love herself through sex and emotions. He shoves her to the point of passion; over and over again. He becomes her addiction. He becomes what she needs to breathe. He becomes her life.

Tori must make a decision that will either make or break her family and the life that she has spent 13 years creating. Does she continue on with the monotony that she calls life, or does she create a new life, from here on out?

This story is gripping because we can see ourselves through the eyes of this anonymous woman. We can see ourselves confronted with this type of situation. Temptation can be damnation, it can be torturous, it can be .... real. Although I did not agree with the decisions that Tori made throughout this book, I have to give it 5 feathers, because it drew me in. E.K. made me feel as if I was there, with this temptation thrown in my face. I felt for the husband, the best friend and especially the kids. The cliffhanger really got me and my family just stared at me as I yelled "NO!!!!"

You will hate Tori and feel for her loved ones. You will want to hug her and tell her everything will be okay, and you will want to beat the crap out of her. You will be a bundle of nerves and emotions throughout the book, although you will be happy that you read it. Give it a read and tell me what you  think!!

New York Times, USA Today, and International bestselling author, E.K. Blair, takes her readers on an emotional roller coaster with her books. A former first grade teacher with an imagination that runs wild. Daydreaming and zoning out is how she was often found in high school. Blair tends to drift towards everything dark and moody and has been noted as 'The Queen of Dark and Twisted'. Give her a character and she will take pleasure in breaking them down, digging into their core to find what lies underneath.

Aside from writing, E.K. Blair finds pleasure in music, drinking her Starbucks in peace, and spending time with her friends. She's a thinker, an artist, a wife, a mom, and everything in between.
