**The below reviews may have spoilers IF you have not read book 1, Forgetting August**

If you like HEA's, amazing characters, as well as plot building, then grab up this beauty immediately! J.L. Berg has some crazy writing abilities. August, Everly, Ryan, Trent and Sarah have squeezed their way into my life and I don't want to let go of them.

As we pick up where we left off with Forgetting August, both August and Everly have many obstacles to overcome. There are blackouts, trust issues, lies, and manipulation going on. August vows to never hurrt Everly again and struggles to stay away. He knows that he can't be part of her life, even if it means letting her go and watching her marry Ryan.
Everly can't seem to let go of the memories, or the love that she holds for August. She tells herself that he is toxic. He is poison to her system because she always ends up defeated. However ... Sarah's boyfriend, Miles, gives Everly reason to run back to August.

Does August stay strong, when memories start flooding back? Will Everly be there to help him through his turmoil? Even better yet, will Trent get what he deserves, which has been a long time coming?

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride that is Remembering Everly. There is so much thrill and intrigue going on and I loved every single minute of it. I loved this series so much, that I will be buying the paperback versions, to sit amongst the rest of my hand picked beauties. J.L. Berg once again, did not disappoint. I can't wait to see what she has next on the agenda!

Good Grief! These two books have generated conversations between me and Michelle more than any others in a long time. I even sent her what I thought could be a "theme" song for book one, Forgetting August, which is "All I Ask" by Adele.

My review for book one is (Click Here) and you must read Forgetting August before reading Remembering Everly.

We pick up in book two pretty much where we left off.  It's been about three weeks and Everly has mourned her loss from August for as long as she's allowing. She's now at the doorstep of Ryan.

Let me speak a bit about Ryan. I don't know if Ms. Berg has a person this was based on but, WOW! What a man. Nice & Simple. Such a gentleman and all `round great guy! But, is he Every's good guy? Is it true there is a soul mate? Can you love more than one person but have the soul crushing, in love feeling, only once in a lifetime? Is it August or is it Ryan?

The first half of the book is all about them sorta separately. August and his issues and Everly is planning things with Ryan.

Then you reach about 60% and things start changing and truths start coming out. Everly finds herself and is becoming stronger. August is sorting through his own issue in a deeper fashion. Other characters come more into play. Trent <-----oh my - he's a good one to hate!

I can't say much more, I don't want to spoil all the twist and turns of this amazing story. Just know how much I LOVED this series. Ms. Berg is a fantastic writer and this proved it even more. The depth of the characters is amazing. The descriptions of what's happening and where they are, so simplistic but amazing in ways that you can see this book in your head like it's a movie. Simply Amazing!!!

Highly Recommend!!

I’m a California native, who lives in the South – Virginia to be exact. I still prefer sushi to fried chicken, avocados to okra, and I absolutely loathe humidity. I do love watching the seasons change though. My husband and I have been here for ten years, and I still get giddy like a school girl every time it snows.
I’m married to my high school sweetheart. We were married young, barely out of high school. Everyone told us we were crazy and stupid. We’ll be celebrating 12 years of marriage this year, and I love him more every single day. We’re living proof that true love knows no age limit.
We’ve been blessed with two beautiful daughters who continue to amaze and inspire me, and are probably making me go a bit insane. I’m obsessed with yoga and pilates and am a complete chocoholic. I apologize in advance for the amount of sweets in my book.

I’m absolutely obsessed with romance novels (duh) and probably could have built a vacation home with the amount of money I’ve invested in them over the years. Romance novels take you to another place, making your heart race, emotions swell, passion run free. After so many years of meeting hundreds of fictional characters and discovering their worlds, I found myself creating my own.
