Once Sam's life was all about having fun. That was before the

accident. Now his friends have bailed and his world is broken. But when a gorgeous girl on his flight looks at him with passion instead of pity, Sam feels his old self coming back to life.

Now traveling together, Nina and Sam know this isn't just a fling. They're falling fast, hard, and deep. More than anything, Sam wants Nina to forget her fears. But to help her do that he must reveal his own painful secret-and risk Nina never seeing him the same way again.

This book follows Nina and Sam. Both of whom are on their way backpacking through New Zealand.  Nina is loveable and quirky with a pair of amazing parents if you ask me!! She has these lists of phobias that she has. She is kind of a Murphy though. You know the type, they attract disaster. So she sets off to New Zealand to start over and become someone new and hide her most embarrassing secret.

Then we have Sam. He’s hot, was the playboy in high school and pretty much the embodiment of the all American kid. We meet Sam at the airport and he is kind of brooding and sexy. As the book goes on we get to know him more and his story is so heartbreaking. I won’t spoil his secret, but it’s *sad swoon* worthy. You can’t help but to cheer for him by the end.

Saying they met by accident has a completely different meaning here. By accident we mean a panty wetting trip… on the airplane… floor. Yes, she pissed her pants.  Nina is attracted to him (just like anyone would be) but she tries to avoid him at all costs, to no avail of course furthering her embarrassment.  They wind up in the same hostel and going the same direction. It was truly kismet.
While there they meet a ragtag group fellow backpackers from other places around the world. There are a lot of ups and downs and secrets revealed on this trip, but with open minds and hearts they set out on an adventure full of accidents and firsts. Sam and Nina have one goal in mind. Chase the crazy and fall in love.

Will their hearts survive both of their secrets?

I gave this four feathers and not five because I wanted more ugly drama. I needed some characters to get slapped in the worst way. Just read it you’ll see.

“The rest happens in slow motion, an instant replay of pure awful. I bend down to grab my book, and the airplane jiggles as though it’s bouncing from cloud to cloud. The floor tilts back. I reach to grab the nearest armrest, but a man’s arm is planted there “resting.” Next best option: launch myself forward to grab the back of the man’s chair. This super-smooth move occurs as the plane rights itself. The laws of gravity kick in, and I pitch forward. I don’t do this elegantly. No points for good form. I land on my elbows, and my skirt flies up to my hips. Yes. My skirt. The skirt that covered my panty-less behind is hitched around my waist.”

A small-town girl at heart, Kelly moved from the city to open a cheese shop with her husband in Northern Ontario. When she's not neck deep in cheese or out hiking, you can find her, notepad in hand, scribbling down one of the many plot bunnies bouncing around in her head.

She laughs at her own jokes and has been known to eat her feelings-Gummy Bears heal all. She's also an incurable romantic, devouring romance novels into the wee hours of the morning.
