Such an amazing story. It's innocent but also dirty. It's easy going but at time complicated. It pulls at ur moral strings but you get and understand it so you can't judge. It's really......great!!!!
I've included a ton of info here on this post so I won't go into the story anymore but give you more my thoughts.
I loved how developed the characters and how real they are. Even though Alex comes from a completely different world - she is still relatable. She has demanding parents and big family responsibility. We don't all have the money she has access to but we still feel as if we know her. She's a young woman just finding herself after being raised to be too perfect. She just wants to be herself and find out what that means to her.
Nox is amazing and the way he brings her out of her shell and shows her a bit of herself.....well it's just really selfless and amazing. I don't think she could have gone back to her "real world" and had the balls to do what she did without having met him.
The writing is amazing!!! Aleatha takes you through the story and creates an amazing story - right before leaving you.....yes with a HUGE cliffhanger!!! Yes I was screaming at my Kindle. However the next book, Cunning, comes out this month. And there a preview in Betrayal that helps cut the cliffhanger just a bit. :)
